Falun is a warm warm town

Bjorn's town lies in a valley, which means that the summers are very very hot and the winters are very very cold. Today it is cloudy, but the air is so amazingly warm. I've never really experienced humid weather before and was therefore horrified by the amount of sweat that comes with this kind of weather! And when the wind blows, it blows hot air, so it feels like you're standing in a hairdryer!

Luckily all of the nature is free in Sweden. You never have to worry that you might be trespassing. This means that on hot, sticky days like today, you can find a nice cool lake to bathe in.

How is the weather where you are? Is England still underwater? I heard a heat wave is coming!

  1. My weather here in West Aussie?

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It was -1'c this morning. I dislike purple toes, need a fireplace to keep warm badly!

  2. It's been really hot here for a couple of days now. It's far too hot for me, I much prefer winter, but I suppose I should enjoy the sun while it lasts - no doubt it will be raining again before I know it! :)

  3. That's one of my fave LOL pictures.

The USA is baking under horrible heat and no rain, esp. in the midwest. There have been bad fires in CO and SD. We've had a ton of hot and humid days in coastal MA. Even though we are on the Bay and Ocean, we get lots of high humidity days. The mid-Atlantic and southern states are even worse.

Usually in the summer it can get extremely hot but it is not that hot and you can go out for a nice walk or even the beach, it's cool the both ways! You could make those awesome coffee ice cubes :D

  7. Here in Cincinnati, Ohio, it's hot (93 degrees), and a little humid. Not as bad as it's been though. I can handle heat. The humidity is what gets me!

  8. Times like that you really do need a good thunderstorm to clear the air.
